PDF Daily lets you read, edit, convert and manage documents on your Android device. Your documents are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to us. This policy explains what little data is involved and why.
Opening, viewing, editing, converting, merging, splitting, compressing, signing and password-protecting files all happen on your device. We never receive, read or store your files. Files you create are saved in the app's storage or, if you choose, in your device's Downloads folder. A file only leaves your device when you share it using Android's share menu, and from then on it is handled by the app you share it to.
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, general location, device information and how you interact with ads. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy options. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings. See how Google uses data from partner apps and Google's Privacy Policy.
Pro subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled by Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store. We never see your payment details. To unlock Pro on your device and restore purchases, purchase records (such as the product bought, the purchase date and an anonymous app user ID) are processed by RevenueCat, our purchase provider. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Everything the app stores (your files, recent list, bookmarks, starred files and saved signatures) stays on your device. You can delete files inside the app. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes everything. For data held by Google or RevenueCat, use the links above or contact us.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because your documents never leave your device, they are protected by your device's own security. Password protection added in the app uses standard PDF encryption.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
